Mothers’ Union is a global Christian movement working since 1876 with people of all faiths and none to develop communities, strengthen families and advocate for change.

Around the world our 4 million  members are active in 84 countries and work tirelessly to serve their communities whilst offering Christian care for families, regardless of faith or background.

Ending violence, ending poverty, ending injustice. We are a truly worldwide Christian movement.

The St. Illtud's branch of the MU is part of the Llandaff Diocesan Mothers' Union.

Our July meeting was in St Illtud's  when our speaker was our Diocesan President  Sue Rivers. She talked about the  "Behind Closed Doors" exhibition which we hosted in St Illtud's during the first two weeks of July. This exhibition explores the issue of domestic violence and invites us to think about ways in which we can help to address this in our community. It then moved on to the National Eisteddfod in Pontypridd and will be in various churches around the Diocese after that.

Food Bank

We are supporting our local Food Bank especially with toiletries (for children, men and women) and sanitary products. These can be brought to church at any time and placed in the Food Bank boxes. Obviously all our gifts to the foodbank are very welcome but these particular items are much needed.
